Week1
——Brainstorming——
First we had a brainstorming session, each student proposed 2 to 3 solutions, then we discussed the technical implementation and product design, etc.
Our ideas
——Pick Up Three ——
——Discuss ——
PLAN 1——Low-headed people - blind people on their cell phones
Introduction
Problems
Interaction
Technology
Materials
Low-headed people not only miss the scenery, but also pose a great threat to their own safety, so they can be called blind to their cell phones. Based on this, when a person with his head down looking at his cell phone walks past, a pair of eyes (sketch/illustration) will appear on one side of the screen (with the appearance of a cell phone) blinking and looking at him; every time a person with his head down walks past, a new pair of eyes will appear on the screen looking at him, meaning that the person with his head down is blind to his cell phone. When people walk by normally, the eyes disappear
How to detect whether the pedestrian is low or normal?
Detect whether pedestrians look down at their cell phones - Yes - blinking expression appears
Image recognition? Or other simple sensors - eye pictures appear on screen / sketches of eyes appear
Image recognition? Or other simple sensors - picture on screen disappears / sketch of eyes appears
Screen or paper
PLAN 2——Your wind sound
Introduction
Interaction
Technology
Materials
Different colors of cardboard folded into the shape of a windmill, when people walk past the windmill will turn, the faster people walk, the faster the windmill rotates, driving the sound device (wind chimes / glass beads or metal collision) to make a sound, the wind is invisible, each person walking speed or hurry or slow, some people in a hurry, some people walking, everyone who has done this interactive device, you can see and hear the sound of their own wind
people approach - windmill rotation - sound device sound
The faster a person walks, the faster the windmill turns, the more rapid the music
Infrared / ultrasonic sensors Servo
origami sound can be physical or mp3 module
PLAN 3——All things grow
Introduction
Interaction
Technology
Materials
A tree branch, when the hand brushes through from the bottom to the top, the light and shadow extend from the bottom to the end of each branch, and the leaves then turn from drooping to erect, simulating the process of growth of all things. The wave of the hand represents the "divine power of the god of the earth to lead the growth of all things".But when the hand is waved too fast, the light beam will flash quickly, the leaves rise and then fall, the light is on and off, representing "not follow the law of growth, rapid growth into decay." Only slowly guide the sapling growth, so that it has been in a luminous state. 1min after people leave, slowly extinguished.
Wave of the hand - the flow of the light on the fiber optic - the extension of the leaves of the tree vertical up
People walk away - the light slowly goes out - the leaves hang down
Ultrasonic sensor combination - calculate waving speed - match different patterns
Servo - leaves droop or erect
Fiber optic light strip
Fiber optics - tree trunk, paper strips - cut and tied
Cellophane/translucent material - leaves - cut
