· Problem Summary ·

1.  High speed of motor

Problem - The windmill we designed needs to choose DC motor to drive, but the DC motor has a high speed

Solution -design and make the shaft that can fasten the windmill and also fit the windmill parts, laser cut out instead of DC  reduction gearing

 

2. Motor torque is not enough

Problem - we designed a larger windmill, the material is also slightly heavy, arduino box DC motor even after deceleration can not bring up

Solution - finally choose high torque DC motor + L298P driver board

 

3.Largest windmill’s smotor

Problem - high-torque DC motor can drive the windmill below 30cm, 40cm large windmill or not

Solution - the final choice of brushless motors for drones, the purchase of ESCs, chargers related accessories

 

4. Battery selection

Problem - due to the battery power problem can not bring up the fan blade rotation

Solution - the final choice of 9V rechargeable batteries and 11.1V rechargeable batteries

5. Fix the  brushless motor

Problem: The first time I bought a drone brushless motor, it turned out that I did not know how to fix it to the windmill pole, only to learn that the drone brushless motor also needs a cross bracket to fix, but there a1.1re no ready-made parts

Solution: According to the parameters given by the store, into the fusion360 design after 3D printing

 

6. Multiple ultrasonic sensors interfere with each other

Problem - after repeatedly checking the circuit, or found that the ultrasonic sensor in front of no object can still detect objects in close proximity

Solution - replace the ultrasonic sensor, the line and then run a stroke, adjust the ultrasonic position

 

7. Complicated materials and structure

Problem - miniature version of the windmill, from the rod to the windmill size is relatively small, material accessories, structural needs are also small, but zoom into a large interactive device, materials, structure, there are too many things to consider to buy

Solution - communicate with each other for sketch design, then use low-cost materials to achieve the goal we want, measure several times, and process the materials

 

8. Migrate the miniature version of the scene to a outdoor scene

Problem - The interactive windmill in miniature indoors, from the hardware to the software operation of the accident, but basically under control, when migrated to the outdoor into a large interactive device, the accident becomes more
